Black and White Toner

Konica Minolta's black and white multifunctional products use toner "bottles" not cartridges that are made of a type of plastic called HDPE.  HDPE is a popular type of plastic used for milk bottles, and local recycling centers will collect and recycle them.  Therefore, instead of asking our users to send back the toner bottles and use fuel/gas to do so, we ask that they be recycled using local recycling centers.

Konica Minolta bizhub Toner Cartridge Recycling Program

Laser toner recycling from Konica Minolta helps to contribute to a clean planet. The Clean Planet Program enables everyone who uses bizhub, magicolor and pagepro toner to contribute to the efforts of saving the environment.

Konica Minolta toner cartridges are developed to the highest standards and designed to provide exceptional output and superior engine longevity. All toner cartridges must undergo rigorous testing prior to approval for use in our printers.

The bizhub toner recycling program was created to further our commitment to quality and a clean planet. To participate in the laser toner recycling program simply follow the instructions below. It's that simple.

Instructions

  • Toner Cartridge: Place the old toner cartridge into the original or replacement carton for return.
  • Waste Toner Box: Please follow the Waste Toner Packaging Instructions (below) for proper return.

    Eligible bizhub Consumables

    All bizhub laser toner cartridges (CMYK) and waste toner boxes will be accepted for toner recycling by Konica Minolta under the Clean Planet Program.

Waste Toner Packaging Instructions

Waste toner box for C250/C250P/C252/C300/C352/C352P

After installing the new waste toner box, keep the carton box and the plastic bag that the new waste toner box came in.  Place the used waste toner box in the plastic bag, and then enclose in the carton box. 

Waste Toner box for bizhub C352/C450/C450P

1. Remove the cap from the used waste toner box.

2. Attach the removed cap to the toner inlet of the new waste-toner box.

3. After installing the new waste toner box, keep the carton box and the plastic bag that the new waste toner box came in.  Place the used waste toner box in the plastic bag, and then enclose in the carton box.
