Forms Applications
This application requires the ability to create electronic forms to replace
the costly expense and storage of preprinted forms. Until now, users have
been required to print large volumes of printed forms to make the production
of forms cost effective, this has created the need for storage and
eliminated the need to customize or make changes to the form. But with
today’s software solutions users can create dramatic customized forms from
their boring line data and print only the amount necessary, preventing the
need for document storage.
Variable Data Applications
Sometimes called “personalized printing” or “1 to 1 printing”, these
applications require the user to merge variable data into any kind of
printing job, such as personalized letters, address labels, direct mail,
barcodes, tickets, etc. This reduces network traffic and allows the printer
to print at full rated speed because the static portion of the document is
stored in the printers memory and merged at the printer with the variable
data. The allows the customer to create customized direct mailings, and
personalize documentation in an effort to increase readership and improve
success.
Production Publishing
The Konica solution for the production publishing market is Unify Konica by
AHT. This exciting new workflow solution provides the ability to cluster
from two to ten Konica 7075 or FORCE 75 Enterprise Document Systems for a
maximum productivity of up to 750 ppm. In addition to the powerful cluster
capabilities Unify Konica provides, this solution is optimized with a wide
range of print on demand tools named Document Management Suite™, which allow
for imposition, variable data, advanced booklet making, and others.
